Training the Techies
The decision has been made to move from a Workgroup model to a Domain.
Having had some experience in this environment you have been asked to produce a guide which explains the steps of promoting a Windows Server to a domain controller, the guide will eventually be used as training material for junior colleagues.

Broken Network!
A network host cannot access the internet, you should solve the issue and document the process in a way which will be useful should the same problem occur again in the future.

Level 1 - Apprentice
Daily Duties - A new apprentice has been hired and has been given a checklist of tasks to be completed. You should demonstrate all of these tasks using virtual machines and document the process using screenshots which could then be used as a guide by the apprentice.

Level 2 - Junior Technician
New Area Manager - Lee Blake, the new area manager will be moving around and would like a roaming profile configured so that his desktop and documents follow him around.
A request has also been made to disable the command prompt for those in the Marketing Department.

Level 3 - Senior Technician
New Laptop for Rod - Rodney would like his newly issued Laptop to resemble his office desktop as closely as possible.
You have been asked to use USMT (User State Migration Tool) to migrate Rodney's profile and application settings.

Level 4 - Network Administrator
Rod on the Road - Rodney has been struggling to access what he needs whilst out visiting clients, a VPN connection to the network is required.

Level 5 - Cyber Security Engineer
Certify the Webserver - In preparation for a self-hosted website, an SSL certificate must be created and assigned to the network member server. The domain controller will be acting as the Root CA (Root Certificate Authority).

Level 6 - Head of Cyber Security
Mobile access - With an increasing number of employees needing mobile access to the network, it has been decided that 'Work Folders' should be implemented and made available to Domain and Non-Domain clients.
Before doing this Remote Assistance should also be configured, along with PowerShell Remoting.
